Seven games launch February 17, with more Virtual Boy titles planned for the future

If you’ve been looking forward to reliving the good ol’ days of the Virtual Boy—or you’ve been curious to finally experience it on Nintendo Switch—I’ve got good news. Virtual Boy is coming to Nintendo Switch Online for both Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 in just a few weeks.

Today, January 27, 2026, Nintendo announced the launch lineup, and it’s a solid one with seven titles available at launch.

Here’s every game you’ll be able to play when Virtual Boy arrives on February 17, 2026:

  • Galactic Pinball
  • Teleroboxer
  • Red Alarm
  • Virtual Boy Wario Land
  • 3-D Tetris
  • Golf
  • The Mansion of Innsmouth

It’s an exciting start, with more games planned for the future—including Mario Tennis, Jack Bros., and two previously unreleased titles: Zero Racers and D(ragon)-Hopper.

To play Virtual Boy games, you’ll need to purchase an additional accessory for your Nintendo Switch or Nintendo Switch 2—either the cardboard version or the standard accessory will work.

The service will also include modern features like Rewind, save states, control remapping, and later this year, the option to adjust screen color.
