Nintendo will share new details ahead of the film’s April release
Clear your calendars—Nintendo has confirmed a Nintendo Direct dedicated to The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, airing Sunday, January 25, 2026.
This marks the second Nintendo Direct for the upcoming sequel, which is set to arrive in theaters on April 3, 2026. During the previous Direct, Nintendo confirmed that Rosalina and Bowser Jr. would be joining the cast.
More recently, Chris Pratt, the voice of Mario, teased that additional recognizable characters—beyond Rosalina and Bowser Jr.—will appear in the film. It’s possible we’ll get our first look at some of those characters during Sunday’s presentation.
The Nintendo Direct will stream on Nintendo’s official website and YouTube at the following times:
- North America: 6am PST / 7am MST / 8am CST / 9am EST
- UK/Ireland: 2pm GMT
- Europe: 3pm CET / 4pm EET
- Asia/Oceania: 11pm JST / 10pm AWST / 1am (Mon) AEDT
We’ll be watching the Direct live and will update you with any major reveals as they happen.
