The chatty collectible launches March 12, 2026

Nintendo shared a wave of new details today surrounding Super Mario Bros. Wonder – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Meetup at Bellabel Park, including fresh information about its accompanying merchandise.

The release date for Talking Flower was revealed today, a delightfully odd new Nintendo product. Based on the chatty flower from Super Mario Bros. Wonder, this loquacious collectible will deliver random voice lines roughly twice an hour. Players can also press a button on the base to trigger dialogue on demand.

According to Nintendo, Talking Flower will say different quotes depending on the time of day and will remain quiet during nighttime hours—a thoughtful touch for something designed to talk this much. And if you’re worried it might still be too talkative, Nintendo has included a feature that temporarily silences it… though for exactly how long remains a bit unclear.

Visually, the Talking Flower looks impressively well-made, and fans of Super Mario Bros. Wonder may find it a fun addition to their collection when it launches on March 12, 2026.

If this particular piece of merchandise isn’t for you, Nintendo also revealed three new Wonder-themed amiibo today, announced alongside the Super Mario Bros. Wonder – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Meetup at Bellabel Park news.
