A small value boost before the price increase.
Nintendo is partnering with select retailers to give buyers a little more flexibility when purchasing a Nintendo Switch 2.
Starting in June, the Nintendo Switch 2: Choose Your Game Bundle will be offered by participating retailers for a suggested retail price of $499.99. The bundle includes a Nintendo Switch 2 system and a download code that can be redeemed for one select digital game.
For a limited time, consumers will be able to choose between Mario Kart World, Donkey Kong Bananza, or Pokémon Pokopia.
The Nintendo Switch 2: Choose Your Game Bundle will only be available for a limited time and while supplies last.
This feels like a smart marketing move for Nintendo. It gives new buyers a little more value at select retailers, especially with a Nintendo Switch 2 price increase set to arrive within the next few months. This gives consumers a short window to get the system with one of its major games included before the value equation changes.
