New Elephant Mario, Poplin & Prince Florian, and Captain Toad amiibo unlock free power-ups on Switch 2
Super Mario Bros. Wonder – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Meetup in Bellabel Park launches on March 26, 2026, and Nintendo revealed additional power-ups for the game today via Nintendo Today.
Launching alongside the Switch 2 upgrade, Nintendo also announced three brand-new amiibo.
The new lineup includes Elephant Mario, Poplin & Prince Florian, and Captain Toad & Talking Flower. While pricing has yet to be announced—though it’s reasonable to expect higher prices in line with the Nintendo Switch 2 generation—we do know that scanning these amiibo grants free power-up items in any course within Super Mario Bros. Wonder – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Meetup in Bellabel Park.
If you’re looking for even more loquacious plastic, you may also want to check out Talking Flower, a product Nintendo first revealed last year, with its launch date finally confirmed for March 12, 2026.
All three amiibo look fantastic, and for fans of Super Mario Bros. Wonder, they may be well worth picking up.
